In the Studio

After recovering from our overly-caffinated sugar-high last weekend I headed into the studio to work on the last track (“Circles”) for our debut album, and also had time to record the first two tracks (“Chains” and “Evolution”) for our second album. I was happy that it was rainy and cold outside. Studios are often in basements, and when the sun is shining I always feel like I’m missing out on something when I spend the day in a room below-ground.

In between recording sessions, writing and experimenting I managed to fall asleep on the great blue couch (despite the sounds of music being mixed on the enormous monitors just a few feet away) and plink out quite horrible versions of  the world’s latest pop songs on the teeny tiny baby grand.
